Longley inducted into Sports AU Hall of Fame
Basketball Australia Hall of Famer Luc Longley has been recognised by the Sport Australia Hall of Fame at its annual gala dinner at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Longley was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame for his outstanding contribution to Australian sport alongside seven other Australian decorated sportsmen and women.
A champion on the court and a legendary man off it, Luc Longley fully deserves his induction into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.More info at the BA site
Andrew Gaze AM, Michele Timms OAM and Phil Smythe AM are other basketball players inducted into the Hall, while Ivor Burge MBE, Lindsay Gaze OAM and FIBA President Bob Elphinston OAM were previously inducted as general members.
