The Townsville Crocs have a facebook page - we have a deal going for all Facebook members to get 2 for 1 tickets to the next game and the 1000th friend wins a double pass to a corp box.

A great way to get the message out to a different group of people.

That's a top idea DJrod, provide some sort of reward for fans/friends on facebook, each club should do that, every club needs to have a facebook page, it's essential and a cheap effective way to market the club/game.

In fact, each club should have a direct link to their facebook page via their website.

36ers also regularly give away prizes via thier facebook page too - keep your eyes on their feed around game day.

Not only should the clubs all have pages etc, but so should the NBL, and I don't just mean a token page that does nothing, it needs to be used to drum up support, with regular updates etc.

Yeah The NBL should definately have an active facebook page, I know there is one for Basketball Australia but it doesn't seem very interactive. On the NBL facebook page you can also have feeding links to all the individual club's facebook pages, and once again the NBL can give away prizes/free tickets/to the odd fan/friend or give a prize like one free live internet stream for your teams next away game or something.
