Kewal Shiels, 20, is a 7'4" Yuba College basketball prospect. He recently moved here from his hometown of Yarrawonga, Australia. Although Shiels has never played organized basketball he is expecting to play for the team next season.

That's not to say Shiels is 100 percent raw. He spent a period of time making a three-plus hour drive from home to playing on a junior team with the Melbourne Tigers, a member of the Australian Basketball League.

But if there is one thing that helps overcome a lack of experience, it's height. His 7-foot-8 wingspan doesn't hurt too much, either.
