pro / rel is the way to go

very happy with pro /rel system introduced for juniors this year - our kids have been getting far more balanced games - frankly it has helped their confidence more playing a balanced game than being in a higher group and getting flogged.

Well overdue, but great it is now in place.

The devil is in the detail.

There is a bit of responsibility by all clubs to ensure that they nominate teams appropriate to the particular grade. Kids do come a go a bit between seasons as well.

Concept is good in principle. Would like to see the teams being pro/rel to face off to ensure fairness.

The main issue which we have had is rotating players between Div 2 and 3. Once you have locked in a team you can't move down for 5 weeks whereas in the past we used this season to assess new players and move them around.

as above if div 3 gets hit with injury's and kids school events it becomes a nightmare. it may have it's pro but there are cons out there to if research is done
