No he does not deserve to be on a rookie team.
HOWEVER, there are only 2 rookie centers in the NBA this year being him and Hasheem Thabeet.
He's obviously having a better year than Thabeet, and since the depth is well... low, he is a good chance to make the all rookie first?
No, they will move Taj Gibson and DaJuan Blair into the center positions.

The All Rookie team is not picked on position ... it is the best 5 rookies regardless of position. Correct me if I'm wrong

Andersen had a massive 17 points and 9 rebounds today.
I've been talking up his chances to everyone who will listen. However, as an older rookie without much fanfare and flash in his game he may miss out. He will defninitely find himself as Cowboys Stadium for the All-Star weekend. There is a chance he will start at Center for the Rooks & they can be a chance of winning.
Here are the players I expect to be in there:
G: Jennings, Curry
G: Evans, DeRozan
F: Casspi, Harden
F: Gibson, Blair
C: Andersen, Thabeet

After spending a number of years playing in the hardened Euroleague Andersen was always going to slot in and compete at NBA level. he will only get better...

I think the rooks will get smashed by the sophomores this year (Rose, Beasley, Mayo, Westbrook, Lopez, Love, Thompson, Gallinari, Gordon, CDR, Lee, Randolph etc, etc).
