Jackson named WNBL Round 14 POTW

Three-time Olympian and FIBA World Champion Lauren Jackson has been named the Player of the Week in Round 14 of the Women's National Basketball League on the back of a game-winning performance for the Canberra Capitals.

The Capitals centre was a commanding figure on court and top-scored with 33 points to secure Canberra a 79-65 victory over the Dandenong Rangers in Dandenong on Saturday.

Jackson, a four-time WNBL MVP, shot 11-of-18 from the floor at 61 percent and was deadly from the free throw line, converting 10-of-11 attempts.
The Jayco Opal grabbed a team high seven rebounds, tallied two blocked shots, two steals and one assist in 32 minutes on court.
