South v Southern

Panthers too dtrong tonight for Tigers, getting out to a 17 point lead at Half time and holding on to win by 12 - 105/93.

Good spread of scorers for South with 5 players getting double figures, 2 more getting 8, with remaining 3 all scoring 6. Tigers basically only had Gerlach (32)& Wood (20)providing any consistent scoring. Not sure what happened with Ben Hodges but I assume since he didn't play in the 2nd half that he has some sort of injury.

South Women also won comfortably by 24 - 68/44 after game was almost over at Qtr time 20/5. Tigers had 35 turnovers for the game as the main statistic of the game. Vikki Kelson flirted with a quadruple double with 10 pts, 8 rebs, 7 assists 7 6 steals, in only 30 minutes

Thats 0 - 2 for the Tigers now, and both losses coming against beatable sides.

I thought that all the Tigers fans were tipping them to do well?

Ben Hodges wasn't injuried so don't know what he has to do to get more minutes, wasn't he their top scorer last week? He wont be playing against centrals as he has other commitments - or is going on strike?

Southern 0-2 and played teams which where tipped early to be 9 and 10. Could be a long season for the Tigers and even at this early stage, finals could be slipping.

Indeed... The Tigers have their backs' HARD against the wall. Facing an improved Lions outfit this week means the pressure is really on.

Woodville on the other hand...
