Penny Taylor named Turkish League Finals MVP

Penny Taylor has been named the Turkish League (TBBL) Finals MVP, once again highlighting her ability to turn it on for the games that really matter.

From the BA website:

Taylor lifted Fenerbahce to their fifth consecutive TBBL title overnight with a game high 28 points to defeat Galatasaray 82-78 and take the Final Series 3-0. Taylor also added 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Taylor continues the Aussies remarkable assault on post-season awards this year, following Bogut, Maric and Neilsen in garnering individual accolades overseas.

Fenerbahce swept the best-of-five series with help from the Australian who also top-scored in Game 2 of the finals with 19 points alongside 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. In the opening game of the final series she scored 9 points and had 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
