LJ Named WNBA Player of the Week
Lauren Jackson has capped a successful return to the WNBA as she led her Seattle Storm team to a flawless 3-0 start to the season, including an OT win over Penny Taylor's Phoenix Mercury.
She averaged 22 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2.3 steals per game in the three wins, earning her Western Conference Player of the Week honours.
LJ's award was her 15th POTW honour since suiting up in the WNBA, and is now the most by any individual - an honour she currently shares with the retired Lisa Leslie.
