Where are they now??

Where are some of the oldies of the NBL?? Ricky Jones - Townsville Suns, Calvin Talford - Tassie Devils, Mike Mitchell - Gold Coast Rollers, Leon Trimmingham - Sydney Kings, Ray Owes - Falcons/Suns....etc etc etc etc etc.

Rick Brunson is rumoured to get a job in the Bulls' front office.

The mention of Brunson makes me think of imports who have gone back to the US and made it into the NBA. Back in 97I went to a couple of games and watched Ray Owes play for Golden State, first against Jordan's Bulls, then against A Hawks team featuring Doug Overton. Owes loooked more than comfortable at that level and in all honesty we probably should never have been lucky enough to see him play in Oz.
