Where do you watch the NBA finals?

Does anyone head into the city somewhere to watch the finals live? can anyone recommend anywhere decent?

I've got a group of mates who want to watch the games live, we've previously been to the Grandstand bar at the Casino but that's less than ideal as once the horse races start, they turn up the races so all the losers betting on horses can hear the race.

Any recommendations?

Rosemont on the corner of Hindley and Morphett streets?

Since you'll be watching the day-time, there shouldn't be any soccer which is what the venue normally plays.

Rosemont is the go in the city - watched games there in the past. I had a few issues with a few of the local drunks and drug addicts bothering me during the game and losing my focus on the action but it isn't too bad.

Usually 20+ dudes watching it there ... only problem is most of them have been Laker fans.

Rosemont sounds like it could be a winner, luckily my friends are Celtic fans so it'll balance it out a little =D

The big screen in my living room.

No, but really, the Cambridge (upstairs above Fellinis) had ESPN on the massive screen (and a bunch of surrounding flat screens) last time I was there. That said, it was the ESPN replay - not sure they're open for the live broadcast.

I had Fox to watch Basketball games and moved house and thought I wouldn't worry about getting it put back on. I figured I would just got to the pub and watch the games and save me the fee. After sitting down the pub for a few hours, drinking, gambling and watching the game I realised that having Fox & Espn at home would be cheaper than spending $100 down the pub every time I wanted to watch some sport.

Melbourne: We watched game 2 at the East Brunswick Club.. they were nice enough to put it on the big screen for us. Also, turf bar in the city is ok if you ask em ahead of time.

Your full of it homeboy, the casino does show the game but theirs to many bored subjective security guards there and they're definitely not buying anybody free rounds from the bar.Maybe you were so drunk last year you don't know where you were. The casino is not the place to watch the game.
