The reason why Gahan and others won't play for the Lightning are very obvious if you read other Lightning threads.

The money is no longer available for players to deal with the "A" factor that comes with in Adelaide.

we all love the lightning - especially living through the jan stirling era.

great outing going to a lightning game - and who could forget the trio of phillips, camino and foley - that's an international guard line up.

just reality says we are pushing shit uphill this season.

when jan stepped down as national coach we lost a huge power base and we have to fall into rank and file as the other teams reap the rewards of planning for where they are now - several years ago.
