Its hard to base the call on stats from the d-league given its shoot first attitude - but he has fairly low assist stats for a PG i would have thought at 2apg

Jules, I think it's fair to give someone benefit of any doubt at first. Hard to know how any player/team will work until you see them in action. Look at the Heat - three top-tier Olympians on one team and people are still tipping the Lakers as favourites.

I'm sure there will be a few people questioning import choices, but they'd do the same with Blalock, Devendorf, Campbell, Rickert, the other Crocs import, etc. All the favourites like Ere and Smith have more or less priced themselves out of the league.

(I think the second import will have more people questioning the choice, but I actually think it could work.)
