Hoops FNBL 2010/11

Hey guys

I'm looking to run a FNBL season on here again this year, and this time am looking to expand it into another league or maybe more.

It is a draft league, so no-one in the same league as you can have the same players, but you can trade bewteen teams.

Xztatik, Statman, Lockie, DB5, skip, Beantown, TR & Bizzy all played last season and would form League 1 if there were all playing again.

I am wondering who else would be interested. You need to be committed as there is nothing worse in Fantasy leagues than when people drop off part way through the year.

I am yet to work out how it will run exactly. Possibly looking at 2 Leagues than run seperatly, but with the evetual winners from each league playing off against each other (like the World Series).

I am open to suggestions.

I am thinking 2 leagues at this point with 8 teams in each.

Introducing Promotion/Relegation for the 2 top/bottom teams. So playoffs would apply to the bottom teams to avoid relegation too.

Last year the draft was done through Google groups. I'd be happy to do it through there again or maybe even setting up a facebook page to do it? Thoughts?

Of those that played last year, was there anything you didn't like that you would liek to see changed?

I am happy to do the draft through any means you decide Skip.

In regards to last season, not many trades happened - don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Having only 8 players in a league with 9 NBL teams of players to choose from may mean more players available to release and sign with the possibility of more trades happening.

Other than that, it was a great league and a good competition.

It will still be the 2 import rule, so with 9 teams in the league, but only 8 in ours, it should mean that there will often be some decent free agents including imports.

Happy to go either way Skip, google groups or facebook... Just have to remember by google groups passwords etc..

2 import rule and the commissioner has the final say on trades.
