Yao may quit basketball if foot does not heal

Houston Rockets and Chinese national team centre Yao Ming is considering quitting basketball after next season if he doesn't fully recover from his lingering foot injury.

By all reports he is not optimistic of fully recovering, and has suggested he will not be able to play as many games given the injury and his age, and in my opinion his size.

Not surprising, it's refreshing to have an NBA Star who is honest and up front though. Such a professional.

It would be unfortunate and pre-mature ending.
Thankfully he's being honest and professinal about it. He's a father now too and would weigh his decision also.
