NBL Championship Odds

Just noticed on sportingbet that odds have been released for the upcoming season.

Perth have started favourites, but interestly, last seasons runner ups Woolongong are joint least favourites with the Taipans.

Im happy to part with some coin for the Sixers at $13.

Considering how last year went; I'm not assuming anything.

Adelaide could have one every one of their "4th Qtr Lead" games and finished second, instead they hit rock bottom.

Would have expected New Zealand and Gold Coast in the Grand Final, instead we got Perth and the Gong.

I'll spend my gambling money on BBall tickets and Iced Coffee I think.

No scoring? Harvey, Goulding, Gibson, Maye, Davison, Petrie can score!
No import? Maye, Davison are imports!
No Depth? Hoare, Vasiljevic, Goulding coming off the bench!
No size? Only two teams in the league have a starting 7 footer!

Biased but the Sixers seem great value. Melbourne, Perth and Townsville too short. Cairns could easily surprise a few too if they get the right import.

The Sixers may be a little off the Championship, but they should finish 3 or 4 if the season goes well.

How in the hell do you make any sort of prediction at this early stage. I wouldn't read too much into it. Not being a betting person myself, won't these odds change a thousand times before season's end?

Probably about fair. Bookies still respecting that the Blaze have imports to come in, while they seem to have abandoned hope of the Tigers making any meaningful changes.
