Cooper foot injury, Kings now down both PGs

Luke Cooper, who played much of the game against Adelaide due to a lack of back-up point guard, looks set to join Luke Martin on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury.

Early verdict seems to be 6-8 weeks.

Could yet another Luke, Kendall, or Lindsay Tait expect a phone call if they haven't been contacted already?

Is Mark Dickel around, or is he in Las Vegas?

Brad davidson would still be a decent backup.
What about mr bruce, would be good to see him play again.

I don't think they would be too far off getting Luke Martin back. Apparently Ben Knight will be back soon also, though I don't think he'll help them much.

I think he can help them the way Dowdell helps Adelaide.

I was impressed by Cooper's quickness and shooting on Saturday nite he and Ryan played lone hands. Cant see the Kings finishing anywhere but in the cellar. Gotta say its not the same, hard to hate a team that average-bring back Boy goorj or the Hammer in some way!

The Kings have signed Perth Wildcats development player Joel Wagner to a game-by-game contract.

The 22-year-old managed less than five minutes of court time during his five appearances as a development player for the Wildcats last season, averaging 0.4 points per game.
He spent the 2010 State Basketball League season with the Perth Redbacks, averaging 13.5 points, 10.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.
He has had the most assists in each SBL season since 2006.

Dickel has been eyeing coming back for a couple of years and requested an NBL player points rating this year, but I dont think he could get a deal that suited.

Whats Cooper actually done? Is it confirmed he will miss 6-8weeks or are we just guessing?

Broken/fractured foot. Last media article (post-36ers game) said it was still to be checked out, but I'd heard 6-8 weeks was likely.

Also in Wollongong.

I think the 36ers are probably happy with Carter.
