lost out to Ira Clark from the Blaze luckily he was amongst 97 other players under consideration for the award though.

I'm betting that the league looked at Ballinger's averages over the two games and not that Perth game in isolation. Didn't see Clark's game so maybe it's a deserving choice, but doesn't feel right that such an important game be overlooked for the award.

I bet if you substituted Homicide or Penney for Balls in the same two games (same stats etc) they would still have won the award!

Also, so teams play more than once a week, so there may be even MORE than 90 players eligible for POTW.
