SASI SCHOLARSHIPS

Does anyone know if the SASI Scholarships have been offered for 2011 and if so how many Full Scholarships have been offered.

Kids get notified mid to late January but doesn't mean it will be posted on website any time soon. It just gives people something to bitch about. Neil did a great job with kids last year and you only have to talk to parents of girls USA tour to see how successful that was and how happy they are.

For what its worth I think the SASI program is fine but there is a lot to be said for putting a kid into the ABA program of a strong club as an alternative. Even if they are not seeing any court time the experience of training with the experienced guys (and gals) and sitting on the bench each week is priceless. Something that can't be manufactured at SASI.
