nbl 2010 Interstate officials

This season the Nbl has basicly been flyinig the officials all around the country side.
Boti has still reported that there has been home town cooking however has anyone else noticed that the Nbl are splashing more money on travel than they have in the past few years.

This year in Adelaide has seen:

Aylen (VIC)
Billy (VIC)
Mills (VIC)
Lyons (QLD)
Kirsten (VIC)
Hunt (VIC)
Giersh (VIC)
Shiels (NSW)
Mayberry (QLD)
Scot Butler (QLD)
Beker (NSW)

I think there might have been one or two others but I dont know there names?

Games I have seen on tv have nearly always had two or three officials from different states.

for a while there a few years ago, it was all local guys doing the games in each state so is this a step in the forward direction for the nbl?

It's good to see the likes of mayberry & butler in adelaide.

ABSOLUTELY agree with you anonymouse ( deliberate misspelling) , However it's a shame you could not

1. actually get your own name right - or did mum not know ?.

2. politely provide corrections.

3. spell correctly yourself - ie "their" is spelt "their" not there

4. be on topic.

and yes, I would have thought that SA would have enough local talent to provide at least 2 refs.

Would have sworn Damien Lyons was from WA
and Brad Giersch is from NSW

believe Phil Haines & Andy Filmer SA have been interstate this year.

Moving refs around has been in vogue for the last two decades nothing new to see folks.
