Home game for the Breakers against an injury depleted Hawks side that has dropped their past few games and will be looking for a win.
Never really see the Hawks roll over so prob not going to happen in this one either.
Hawks will need a big game from Oscar.
I think home court should be enough to get over the line but I don't expect a massive blowout even tho they are missing Saville and Ervin

Two months ago this would have been the standout GOTR. Expect the Breakers to clear the bench by half time, eh.
Oscar is the only bright light and should be the standout player - possibly for both teams - and reckon there's a good chance of a triple double for arguably the best SA born player floating around in the NBL at the moment.

Tricky spot for the Breakers here imo ... Shortish turnaround from a huge comeback win in Cairns and now against an Ervin-less (?) Hawks side .. It's not exactly a game that sets the motivation sirens ringing for the Breakers .. might be tough for them to get 'up' for this one.

Toft, (1) Schenscher, (2) I don't think Oscar's ever had more than about six assists.
Breakers, stop looking so shocked. This is how the game is called everywhere else around the league.

Hope Oscars foot is sweet. Last thing him or the Hawks need is another injury.

Refs just screwed hawks in the last minute in earvin layup and Forman put back....its ugly when its so obvious how poor the reffing is in NZ. Perhaps NBL should look at that more closely than whose warming up when the other team is being introduced!

Refs called it tight in the first half and then let some shockers go. The unsportsmanlike foul was rubbish. Good solid D and a decent foul, no such thing as an easy layup. Vukona was a beast on the boards and Penney got it going when it counted. How many guys slipped onto their asses, must have been horrible for the guards.

I don't think NZ has any referees in the League. They are flown over there.

Tough loss for the Hawks who were right in it for much of the game. Few baskets to Penney at the end kept it out of reach - just too good.

NZ have 4 referees in the NBL. Pickering (who was on last night) Whui, Thackery and Brown.
Last night Mildenhall and Mills were flown in.
