Private Owners or BBall Associations?

Can anyone who really knows list the owners of the respective WNBL sides?

Logan - Local Association (struggling financially)
Towsnville - Local Association (dead financially)
Bulleen - Local Associaiton (OK)
Dandenong - Local Association (big sponsor/been bailed out twice financially in the past 10 years by local government)
Sydney - Private
Adelaide - Private
Canberra - State Assocation (High level of government and league support i.e. BA paid a large amout for Jackson)
Perth - State Assocation (low costs and results)

The remark about league support for Canberra is incorrect. They (BA) support the Capitals no more or less than any other WNBL team. Jackson's appearance last year was a once-off seperate sponsorship deal, albeit mostly from the same corporate supporters that support the team.

Two private owners, one's a basket-case! Yet BSA remain silent about the state of women's elite basketball in SA.How many father/daughter rescue combos will we have to endure before women's basketball gets a pathway that's transparent?
Please get it through your collective heads BSA, private ownership is tough at the best of times but damn near impossible for a minority sport for women, ASSOCIATIONS have to provide the pathway or risk extinction.
While the chief exec flits here and there selling smokes and mirrors to junior ballers he's also overseeing the murder of his game at the elite level.

BSA or the old BASA is the reason why there is private ownership of the Lightning. A change of name will not enable the Association to run a viable Womens program. It needs $$ without baggage.
