11.6 PPG and 6.7 RPG starting for the runners-up. 2.5 APG. 53% from the field. Career-best PPG and RPG.

Haven't heard this Ubaka/Crosswhite thing anywhere else and is probably a load of crap, but it makes sense for the Blaze so who knows.

i guess ubaka will shop around and more than likely go,not so sure about crosswhite,i'd imagine he would stay in cairns for the right amount of dough.
he has pretty good stats for an aussie center in the nbl.
kerry williams back.
loughton to stay.
dusty to stay.
jones gone.
tait gone.
grabua to stay(last season....if he makes it).
ubaka shopping.
dorsey shopping.

as suspected, the cairns roster was about 15/20 points lacking offensively.
they were 'money not spent' points and was always imo going to come back and bite them.

money is not one of cairns's strong points.

Can't believe that anyone would want Helliwell, he was terrible at Melb and that's being kind to him.

All season he was out of touch and with his size and strengh in this league he should be a 15 & 10 guy!

With his size and strength you still need mobility and skill in this league. He is a solid 10 minute backup though, same as he was in similar standard leagues in Europe.

I still don't get why Ubaka would go back to Blaze if they let him go? I don't know why they let him go in the first place, but it seems strange that they would want him back instead of just keeping him initially.

does it matter if someone is signed for multiple years with the tigers? seamus will just rip up their contracts and not pay them another day anyway. just look at grizzard, muursepp, tj campbell, devendorf and al westover, who had another two years on his contract

Helliwell is GONE!!! They won't annouce it but he'll be relesaed shortly by "mutual" agreement. I hear Kings are having one last "big" crack at Gibbo but he prefers Melbourne! Clark won't go to kings except for top $$ as he was only at Gold Coast last year a a favour to Joey.
