also a centrals team off to the junior classics.

hopefully they can continue to rise to elevate the comps and capitalize on all the new development and growing population up north.

one win for the season is a record. as long as you are prepared to pay big money there is no reason why you wouldn't remain a middle of the road team but once the money stops unfortunately , so will success. Build your juniors then keep them and then u have a future.

371, "Build your juniors then keep them and then u have a future." What do you think Centrals are trying to do fool?

The State Champs of 2011 were the most successful for Centrals for a number of years. Looking at the final ranking positions for the Club, they were better than Woodville, North and South.

Why do you hate the Club?

Bring It not sure mate, but I know they are excited this year to go in the 14 Girls Div 1, even if they get thrashed. Alot of the kids are coming from Y/Valley. They even have 2 or 3 from Pt Lincoln and Pirie that travel 2 a weekend for matches and training. So hopefully the club can continue to grow.

It's great your excited about your 14's because they are the strength of the club but where they are on the district ladder is about right. Relying on country kids to build your clu,b as is happening, is not the best ploy as it causes its own problems but reaping your own area and developing the talent pool that is vast around the Gawler precincts is the best policy.
Centrals has replaced Mavericks as the country centre of choice and is using country state coaches, which in some cases, is sensible but don't put all your eggs in their basket or you may be disappointed.

Perhaps a certain cellar dweller near related club needs to take stock of current debacle of its ABA team.Nothing has improved and with a mentor acting as assistant how can it be current coach needs to establish own direction and fast.

318314,
Their U12 Boys team is in 5th spot and after their win on Friday will probably move into 4th spot, depending on other results.
There's only 1 from YP in this team.

The Lions love that so many great kids, coaches and families fom the country region are lifting the club. Keep in mind traditionally country kids that are very talented often end up boarding/moving to adelaide at around u18s anyway.

The women's turnaround is phenomenal for the club and basketball in the area. To have a viable women's programs Lions juniors can aspire to move into is reaping benefits for the club.

I am confused as to why putting country players into Central teams is an issue when it has been going on for a long time in certain teams south of the Torrens River?!?
