Emu's European Tour

The Emu's have departed for their two-week European tour where they will face off against Croatia and Russia, playing three games against each country.

vs Croatia: 29, 30 and 31 May in Crikvenica, Croatia
vs Russia: 3, 4 and 5 June in Moscow, Russia

They should have elevated Dante Exum to this squad...he could compete at this level and would gain the development he requires rather than playing 7 games in 6 months and training 3 a day.

Sorry MELHOOPS but Dante is not up to that level just yet - he is just fresh into AIS and after the State practice game (U16's) the other week,I think he will be right by next year after some strength training and tweeking to his game. My opinion only. and I was at that game.

Emu's lost to Croatia in their first hit-out on tour, going down 67-77.

Hugh Greenwood top scored for the Emus with 18 points followed by Mitch Creek with 13 points. Anthony Drmic added eight points while Mitch McCarron finished with seven.

Emu's gained revenge for their game 1 loss to Croatia to win 86-67.

Hugh Greenwood had 14 points, Anthony Drmic and Mitch Creek had 13 points each, while Jackson Aldridge added 12 points and Daniel Trist 10 in the big win.

us wrap up Croatian series

The Emu's won the 3rd and final game of their Croatian leg of their tour, accounting for the Croats 88-60.

Mitch Creek led all scorers with 28 points @ 78% shooting. Mitch McCarron had 21 points @ 75% and Hugh Greenwood finished with 15 points.
