Lockout movements and rumours

Really interesting to watch and see what might happen because of the NBA lockout. Would Deron and Zaza signing at Besiktas dislodge Ogilvy to an NBL team or does he have a Euro passport? ESPN rumours suggests Delfino and Bellinelli could sign in Italy. Wouldn't take more than a few moves to really impact other leagues with signing ripples.

Wonder if Melbourne still believe that signing their imports early was the right move?

Another ESPN rumour was that Adam Morrison was looking to play OS - Nino, remember that conversation?

No D-League should also mix things up - a lot of half-decent hopefuls suddenly keen to take $100k over nothing. And the AUD on top of that.

D-League players are paid relatively minimal by the sounds of it and share houses often. Could see a few of those guys lookin at coming to Australia and being cheaper than usual

Mixed bad from there though. Gilder, Sanders, McCullough were all very good D league players, even Winder had a pretty good year in the D league before he came here. Generally only the very best in that league are up to the standard over here.

Was on the adelaide now website either yesterday or day before that the D-League will continue to operate even despite the NBA Lockout.

Happy to be corrected. I wonder how that works - no involvement with the NBAPA?

The NBA owners have locked NBA players out so everything else still goes on.
