Brisbane , according to Nagy , will host this pre-season blitz , if it can be arranged prior to NBL Season start.
NBL is keen on Brisbane doing it and coming back into the league.
Although Brisbane spartans are now a feeder team for one of the Qld teams. I disremember which one.
While only yesterday. they released Cortez Groves
averaging 14points , is insufficient.

I still can't believe Cortez missed that layup against NZ. The hero does 360's in warm ups and then to win the game with no one on him, he does a layup and stuffs it up. Could have done a two hand dunk to seal it. Don't come back Cortez

Best he heads to QBL to pick up a cheque if he wishes to remain in australia!

as a sixth man Cortez isnt to bad with the experience he brings
Yeah he might be a 6th man in SEABL. His NBL days past him 3 years ago....Adelaide somehow decided to sign him though.

Many times I'd often thought Brisbane Spartans
C.Groves and C. Williams as Aussies was the start of the Brisbane NBL.
