The way China are playing I'd be backing Duke! The Chinese are a far cry from the team that used to beat pro teams with monotonous regularity. Hard to see them even winning the Asian champs unless their coach is hiding something pretty special up his sleeve until September.

Agree Paul.
I think the coach could be the problem. Because on paper they have a good team.
Maybe the language barrier is really hindering the player-coach communication (and vice versa), which is highly important.

Can't figure out why they wouldn't have a Chinese coach?
Surely, there would be some highly reputable Chinese coaches going around..

The only thing Donewald has up his sleeve is a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

He should stick to acting. I loved him in Beetlejuice ;)

It was the U23 squad. China "Olympic Team" is a term borrowed from football where U23 teams represent their nations at the Olympic Games.

Never mind, looked for myself, Duke won 78-66 after a fairly close game most of the way through. Impressive effort by the Chinese.
