looked a bit lame....should have had the sixers dancers there, maybe a few team mates, maybe some club officials actually dressed up and looking professional etc etc.

doesnt look real tall, looks gangsta in that beard though!

The dancers have day jobs. I'd rather club money go to things other than paying women to stand or dance around as someone arrives at the airport. (Yes, Richard could've picked a better top; hard to make blue polos look professional whatever you do.)

Sending along a team mate is a good idea.

Yeah have to agree, Richard looks like some bum of the street! And again agree, help the poor man with his bag, go get a trolley or something, he just got off a 20 hour flight!!! And where's the captain??? We are a professional bunch aren't we...

The captain went to hospital for an ankle operation
last week and is on his back for about 2 weeks.
I go to training some of the time
not all of the time
and haven't seen him running.
For me, it's hard to think on , that he'd start.
(Missed the last 3 games of last season)

Are we a little hard here?

It would be nice to have seen some players there, but two important people were there Leeanne Grantham (CEO) and Richard Hill (Basketball Operations). Both were dressed neatly and Chris Warren (the star of the event) had a Sixers top on.

It looks like there was a good turnout of media and this is important considering the exposure basketball and the Sixers get.

I can see with Bradley gone, it could be another Hill that gets dumped on this year. Now a burgundy jumper is not the height of fashion and a suit jacket may have been better business (albeit he probably didn't want it to be too formal), but are we making a mountain out of a mole Hill?

Nine news interviewed him and showed footage of him playing , mentioned John Williamson arriving Thursday
and sang 'Hey True Blue' at the end .

I think what is important is what was on the news, I did not see it so I do not know.
Was Richard on camera in his jumper?
I think there is a big difference between what goes on camera and what we see on this site from the good work of Milbank

Agreed.
For sometimes sixers dancers have gone down
Grizzard , I think , and nothing on TV news.

This was very , very well done with nine news
A good interview. A good coverage. No Richard.

Thanks Camel
End of bitch
Milbank's photo's on this site are gold, but I am guessing it is a service offered by Milbank and not an official media release from the Club, hence there would be no selection or control of what goes out by the Club on "behind the scenes" photo's

First look at the photos and all I can think of is that Simpsons episode where Homer is building a Pool.

"Tis a fine barn, but tis no pool english"
"Do'eth!"
