36ers 0-7?

The Adelaide 36ers could easily be zero win's from the first seven games of the season:

They play:Perth at home first

Then they have the Hawks on the road

Then they play the Kings @ home against Bogey man

Then they have to head to Perth for the wildcats

Then they have to fly to NZ to face the Breakers

Then they get a home game - guess who, SYDNEY!

Another home game the next week, oh it's Patty & the Tigers

----------
Round 8 @ home they play the Gold Coast!

This will test the fan's in Adelaide and loyalty to there Club

Round 14 & 16 they play Cairns

Round 15 they have the Breakers again

First game against Townsville is round 17 & again in Round 19

Round 18 they have the Tigers

Round 20 will be a relief because they have a bye

Round 21 they face Tigers & Perth

I guess there are no easy games in the NBL this year

well this has been a riveting thread. i believe the sixers did really crap last season yet they beat perth in the opening game. i think your maths here is massively flawed.

Also Adelaide could beat Sydney in all 4 of those games. As good as Bogut is he isn't going to average 40 points and 20 rebounds per game. He will be the best big man in the league but so was khazzouh and how did Sydney go with him? I would imagine lots of complacency from Bogut. Defensively he will be as good as always but Offensively it will be a surprise for him.

Still a tuff draw though and the way the NBL have done it , teams play each other multiple times in a short time frame

what a stupid thread. so i guess ya think everyone upgraded except the sixers huh. gees why are you even a fan.

im pretty sure the sixers have upgraded since last season.

so what mebourne has patty im pretty sure he will play maybe 1 or 2 games if that the way they are talking about the lockout at the moment.

yes all the games will be tough but the sixers got ride of some dead wood and picked up some decent plyers as well.

we have only played 2 pre season games and ya already think we are gonna be wooden spooners disgraceful.

I don't understand the problem with the schedule at all, who the hell do you want them playing? Hobart Devils, Newcastle Falcons, Geelong Supercats...

Time will tell but my post is factual
It's a hard schedule and if Bogut plays for Kings then he could play in most or all of the games against Adelaide because they are all early in the season.

Not saying Adelaide have not improved the team but I believe they are behind Perth , hawks , Sydney , melb and new Zealand all of which they play multiple times early .

Look at when this schedule was brought out.
Melbourne didn't have Patty. Their team wasn't that scary. Still isn't imo. Same deal as last year but they've gone small not big. Can't see Ubaka and Mills coexisting too well really.
Sydney had a bunch of kids and Khazzouh. Playing them 4 times before their kids start putting it together is absolutely ideal. There wasn't even an option of Bogut playing for them (Ill believe it when I see it).
Wollongong don't have that impressive a team. Grossly undermanned and we did alright last week.
We matched up extremely well with Perth last year.
New Zealand lost Penney. Don't look as scary this year, but granted we will probably lose this one.

Who exactly do you expect us to beat this year? Can't beat Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, New Zealand, Wollongong. So It's only Cairns, Gold Coast and Townsville we can beat. (2 of which were top 4 last year).

I will back us in to win 3 of the 7.

NBL site says Mills was the MVP?
I know New Zealand lost, but Vukona and Penney were so much better than him.

It is all very well to comment on what teams had previously .
I am talking about facts
Cairns , Townsville and gold coast are no stronger this year
Melb much better
Nz better
Sydney better especially with Bogut who will play IMO
Perth very good club

Not saying they will go zero and seven but with the draw it is a chance

Stop arguing guys, everyone knows pre-season predictions are extremely accurate, and that all games are won by the team that looks better on paper.

I normally don't respond to trolls but Wooden Spoon what facts are you talking about? the season hasn't even started, Bogut hasn't signed with Sydney.

sixers and lightning.
The only thing we really know for sure
is Suzy Batkovic-Brown and Wade Helliwell are twins.

If no one wants Bogut, just send him 1500kms south west of Sydney. No one has had a glimpse of 36ers' new imports and yet we are already predicting we'll lose most games this season. Amazing!
