Crocs keen for reduced pre-season schedule

Coach Paul Woolpert has limited pre-season to five games, opting to clock up more time on the practice court.

Woolpert has slashed the pre-season schedule by half from last year's commitments, organising just two matches outside of the official NBL pre-season campaign which starts against Perth on September 17 in Rockhampton.

Strange.
Usually its the other way round..i.e. The coach wants to play as many pre-season games as possible, to give the team time to gel.

Time will tell if this is a successful method ..

His trainings will have to be damn intense if they want to be more beneficial than a game.

great idea. What's the point of playing 1/2aresed NBL teams pre season. No benefit at all. Most are at full strength and its a waste of time and money playing them.
Cherry ripe on the court and then deleiver when the real games count
