Luke Nevill officially signs with Perth

Perth sign Nevill

Good to see him back in league. Still not sure how they have managed to fit their whole squad in the points cap.

I already had Perth locked in as my championship favourite. This signing just confirms it! Well done to Nick Marvin, Rob Beveridge and the Perth Wildcats. A first class organisation that should be the model for all other NBL teams.

Great to have him back in the NBL. Great signing to the Wildcats. Does he have further European desires?

Agree with Skip and not just with the points cap

Thats a very good signing by the cats I can smell another championship coming to perth. Perths starting five will hopefully look like this
C Luke Nevill/ Jeremiah Trueman
PF Matt Knight / Jess Wagstaff / Greg Hire
SF Shawn Redhage / Cam Tovey
SG Kevin Lisch / Drew Williamson
PG Damien Martin / Brad Robbins

I guess they will be rotating between Trueman, Hire and Williamson for the 10th spot on the roster

Talked with Bevo at training the other day; Tovey will start.

As a rabid Cats fan my favourite thing about this signing is that I get front row seats to watch Matt Knight beat the living suitcase out of all the 4's in the comp. Gonna be brutal !!

How is it a match-up problem for the Kings who have Khazzouh and Grant? Or NZ who have Pledger plus other decent bigs. Melbourne, yes.

Melbourne yes if Burston is injured, which is quite possible. But if he is playing he is a great defender. Problem would be if Tragardh if trying to guard Knight! But Tragardh just tries t ooutscore rather than defend.

Anon, who backs up if one of them is injured or tiring? Melbourne have gone from too many bigs to one too few IMO.
