Kobe Bryant to play in Italy

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/basketball/bryant-will-play-in-italy/story-e6frect3-1226154317485

(sorry don't know how to do the link)

I assume this relies on insurance aswell.

Since this deal is much higher profile than Bogut to Australia (and much higher $), I wonder if the Italian club will have any more influence & be able to speed up a resolution to the insurance saga.

Will it encourage a few other high profile players to look seriously at overseas?

What is the source of this article? ESPN says the deal is not done yet.
