Diamon Simpson @ Training

When does he attend his first training and is anyone going down that can provide us with some intel on how they think he will go, how did he go offensively, defensively etc...?

I think there's a members open training this evening from 4-6pm? See the team, new import, pick up your members' pack, etc.

I noticed at radio 5aa that they'd have the sixers on
You'd think that would be after 6 then.
Think that's gonna be every tuesday , sixers segment
on the radio.

Just interested to know if the court is still going to be called the Brett Maher court,
so if someone at training can check the court and post whether the signature or whatever is still there, that would be much appreciated.

Brett's signature was still there on the w/e....

Diamon is also no longer going to be at training - just got an sms then saying he has to have his routine medical.

Ballinger Fan, why wouldn't it still be called the Brett Maher court?!?! What have you heard?

I have heard nothing.

I just remember that the court has been resurfaced, new colours, new sponsor, new keyway... and i did not recall seeing it.

I did not mean to imply that it had been removed.

Steve Weigh's interview was on about sixthirty
probably no coincidence that Weigh could be a news reader.
Ballinger to play in the next home game , he reckoned.

Apparently Hodge & Homicide entered the court together last night and defaced it and now it's called Rucker Downunder.

Simpson won't have his proper legs in for at least 10 days.

check out clip.. looks pretty solid and coach gives him a huge wrap, hopefully he can work hard for the 36ers and find his role. I doubt the league alaska plays in would be that great!

The league wouldn't be that good and also the max height a player can be is like 6'6-6'7 or something like that so its no surprise he dominated there

Inspector Gadget "Simpson won't have his proper legs in for at least 10 days."
Surely you have a spare pair lying around he can borrow .

Actually I do remember this kid. He will be ok, no stand out but will rebound well, and play some solid which is what we need.

Yeah the wing spans pretty handy . Got some good deflections , this morning. Combines well with Warren.
Very well. Not fit. Did half the sessions , didn't shoot too good. Ballinger shot very well.
( Croswell didn't train , walked very slowly.)

Ironically I forgot the 'D', but it seems the sixers did too...

Ng moved around pretty good.
Weigh yelled out for a lift . " Not good enough."
Radford stopped them . " That wasn't a good shot option, with half the clock left. Do it more like Bruton. Massage it. "

Simpson did really well in the D-league i hope he will show us some of his moves under the hoop.Don"t think he is ready for this weeks game, maybe best to rest him.I would have loved to see David Nurse playing with him who also did phenomenally in the D- LEAGUE,but he is long gone.

Don't think he's quite ready. I wonder about another plane trip at the moment or best to rest him.
Ballinger looked more ready.
Crosswell looked unlikely.

A lotta 3 on 3 , this morning , that'll get em fit.
Simpson's not a good long shooter but the rest, not tooo bad. Ballinger shot well , of course.
Halliwell's fit. He's handy out there.
Crosswell looked unlikely agen , as does Ng.
( A little bitta Lightning on another court.)
