Pirates to stay in Newcastle

It's been reported that Jeff Blandon, Pirates' owner, has secured a six-figure sponsorship deal with Bill Caralis (owns radio stations in NSW and QLD) to ensure that the Hunter consortium would sign on. NBL approval is still to occur, but the matter is likely a formality.

Thats encouraging news, why cant a big Corp help the sixers out like Newcastle!

they already are, they're getting loan concessions from the gov and unley council.
