Higher Competition Required

It appears that the top 3 or 4 teams in each division are fairly close and the rest make up the numbers which means poor competition and skill development.

Is this being addressed by anyone ? How do we compare with other states ?

The fact that the competition is lopsided isn't good. I think the argument that this negatively the impacts the development of players isn't very accurate.

Prest/Omomogho played at South Adelaide
Nathan Spehr played at west
Hooley at Norwood (in not very strong sides mostly)
Ryan Clark is at Woodville
Carlin/Clausen/Centenera at Centrals
Ingles at SOuthern
Papendiek at Norwood
Madgen at Eastern

Playing at Sturt/Forestville doesn't guarantee successful development.

Its more important for the competition to have bases in key growth markets which happen to be in the North/East/Southern extremes and give these athletes ready access to basketball's elite pathways.
