18 girls wanted for Div 3, AT least real clubs an offer Div 1.
Some serious ground breaking advertising and recruitment here! No wonder why some clubs are dying!
This shows a systematic issue, not just a club issue. The u18 girl competition is unbalanced with so many Norwood and Forestville teams. My daughter has stopped playing this competition because it is so lopsided. 9:45 games are also a joke
My gut feeling is that less and less girls are playing basketball across all levels not just District. Some social comps now have mixed teams as not enough girls can be found to have a girls team. Forget getting them into District - we need to get them into Basketball first

Under 23 comp needs players and what about lower womens divisions - its across the board
