SEABL and Big V SCM are not different levels at the top 4.
Over stating SEABL by a lot.
Corio Bay are taking over Basketball in Geelong it looks like, great to see, the supercats have had all that region to themselves for years.

Sorry Anon, but 5-6 years ago you would have got away with that comparison. These day's SEABL has left BigV behind again.

The BigV is back to what it was in their early ABA days, 2-3 good teams at the top with a sprinkling of SEABL quality players and a 1 or 2 NBL starters in the league, but very little depth on the benches. The days when BigV had 5-6 teams with 5-6 quality players each went when Sandy and Dandy deserted it for the SEABL.

I think the top Big V teams are equal to SEABL, but the SEABL standard holds much further down the ladder. SEABL doesnt have many NBL quality players anymore though. Big V, CABL, SBL and QBL all have more NBL guys than SEABL.

Shame we dont get the chance to see all those teams play against each other anymore.
