Butler has a knee injury that has keep him out of the 2011/2012 season.He has not retired.

I wish Brett campbell would retire.
The game has passed him, and because he has obviously realised that deep down and knows he hasnt got long left under the big lights he trys and makes so many situations all about him.

*Julian* what a load of absolute bullshit! Like a lot of the NBL refs he has a high level professional life and midweek travel isn't appropriate. If you go and have a look he did plenty in 2010/2011 out of Queensland. You might want to check your facts before you post SHIT

He's had knee surgery that has kept him out of this season. Story goes that he hurt himself while in China last year and had to come home early... Hoping to see him make a return soon, we might not always love the whistle blowers but he is an asset to the game.

Also he used to be married to a ref, the little blonde hottie who's been making an appearance on court lately, maybe she didn't want to change her name to avoid being in his shadow? Just a theory. I heard on the grapevine he's dating a cheerleader now though, maybe one of the inferno hotties? Lucky bastard.
