Arne Duncan in the All-Star Celebrity Game

Interesting to see Arnie Duncan, who played as a import for the Eastside Melb Spectres in 1988/89, scored 17 points to go along with eight rebounds and five steals in the NBA All-Star celebrity game.
Duncan, now 47, a Harvard graduate, is President Obama's education secretary and is regularly involved in the President's pick-up games.

Thought it was Arne Duncan. Obvious he would be into promoting education and particularly reading, writing and spelling skills.

That's funny as well as harsh very old. It wasn't like he buggered up their or there.

Goorgian said Arnold Duncan was always going to be very special. It's nice to have some of Oz in the white house.

Sorry , Arne was appointed in the first year of the big O's term. I believe he sponsored some of the statistical analysis that consequently identified some of those teachers ( primary school !!) both coaching their pupils to answer specific questions in their national literacy and numeracy test , and also teachers who actually corrected students papers before handing them in. !!!
