Tall Blacks Vs Macedonia Olympic Qualifying

Macedonia 84 (Bo McCalebb 23, Pero Antic 17, Todor Gechevski 16) New Zealand 62 (Alex Pledger 11, Everard Bartlett 9, Rob Loe 8). HT: 44-31.

Pledger had 11 boards to go with his 11 points.
Tall Blacks won the rebound count 43-27 but had 21 turnovers and only shot the ball at 35%.
A Rob Loe 3 at the start of the 4th had NZ back to within single digits but then Macedonia went on a 12-0 run to take their lead back to 21 and never looked back.

NZ team faces Angola tomorrow morning.

Are you sure that rebound count is correct? Must be the first time in history a team has been massively outrebounded but still notched up a comfortable 22 point win. They must have shot at a ridiculous percentage of the stats you posted are indeed correct.

'012, bit weird!

McCalebb obviously took the offer to naturalise. I was talking to a Boomer the other day and he was saying that he had an offer a few years back from Bosnia (I think it was) to naturalise for them. They would invent some long-lost Bosnian grandmother of his and rush through a passport. Puts the Borrego stuff in perspective!
