Eidson To UNICS - Ingles Gets In Barca's Rotation

One of Barca's two main rotation small forwards, Chuck Eidson, is reportedly being sent to UNICS Kazan.

Because of this, Joe Ingles will now finally be able to move into Barca's main 10 man rotation, as their primary backup small forward.

So.......Joe Ingles will finally get to play in the regular rotation of a big Euroleague club. This is a huge opportunity for him, and he better not blow it.

Speaking of FC Barcelona, Jawai was meant to already be in barcelona to start training with the team but is yet to leave Australia as his passport is missing according to an article on MundoDeportivo. He has been in Cairns training with the Taipans for the time being, until his passport problems are resolved.

FCB doesn't seem to have that many bigs, is jawai likely to feature in the rotation even if only limited minutes, or is his role more reserve?

1 more season for Barcelona and Jingles will be putting on an NBA singlet, hopefully the Bulls. Jawai should get some minutes as part of their rotation but he has to produce or his minutes will be limited.

> Their coach said that he was signed to be their third center, but they have not signed another center as of yet. Anyway, most European clubs like to use a 3 center rotation.

So a third center usually plays about 10 minutes a game.

Maric is no dud, euroleague MVP. Olympic Ball didn't really suit him as it was a small ball tournament. He is a banger that is suited to Euro ball but not a dud.

Maric was never ever a Euroleague MVP. Where in the world did you hear that?

Actually, he was Panathinaikos' third string center for the last 3 years.

He was only in Panathinaikos for two years. He was in the Euroleague All-First Team three years ago.

I agree Maric is one dimensional. Versatility is what is needed at an Olympics in addition to talent and hard work.

Since when does All-Euroleague First Team = "Euroleague MVP"?

I've never heard of a Euroleague MBP playing in a Eurocup club.

The Euroleague MVP award only existed since the year 2005. How the hell do you get 11 MVPs from that?

Incorrect. Before that they gave out regular season and top 16 MVPs.
