NH: Armstrong banned for life, loses TDF titles

Good to see the UCI stripping him of his titles, it's fair to say the evidence appears to be insurmountable now. It's no secret the sport is tainted by a LOT of blood doping where the riders feel they need to dope to win because everyone else does it.

Checkout Four Corners on ABC IVIEW, they have a really good episode about Armstrong and blood doping, it includes some great interviews with Tyler Hamilton etc.

I dont think cycling will ever recover and maybe its time to make the TDF defunct. It will forever he associated with drug taking and too many previous winners have been stripped of their TDF titles.

The event is now nothing more than just a tour guide of France, with a cycling race going on in between. Surely nobody would take the results of this event seriously anymore. Its too tainted to give it any respect.
