Are we picking the best, the most entertaining, a balance of both? On current performance, or potential in an ASG? e.g., Ervin's had a slow start, but he's fast and can dunk. Redhage is a great player, but not particularly flashy. Are we trying to keep the Australian/NZ reasonably high?

Four import guards. Crosswhite's stats aren't great and do we really want four Kings in there given their record? Loughton is another option but hasn't been in great form. Short SFs. Blanchfield could almost have a case? Edwards is a dunker but his stats don't match these guys.

Vukona is a dunker and has had reason numbers but who do you omit? Weigh's PPG is good enough to put him up as an option, but not really an ASG player. Johnson can dunk, presumably Scott too. Jackson and Abercrombie will. Walker is scoring 10ish PPG and could go in for Braswell.

Both teams posted by Isaac and op look decent, but I think it's still a few rounds too early to tell who is going to have a good season, or just showing a few flashes early. At the moment, both Brad Hill and Blanchfield deserve spots but I'm not sure if they will hold onto their current form for the duration of the season. At the end of round 5 will be a suitable time to start posting some mock teams as until then, the teams can change weekly really.

Based on more a prediction of performance up until the ASG.

Abercrombie was NBL 1st Team last season, Finals MVP the season before and one of the best 3point shooters and the best athlete in the league. Even with his slow start with his ankle, I doubt he would not start in this game with Jackson and I would expect Vukona to make the bench.

I think Abercrombie needs a few more games to prove he is a starter

I wish he were playing at 100% this season, but he clearly isn't.

Abercrombie was pretty much back to himself in the last game. There is still 9 games until the all star game, if he play's like he did last friday then I can't see why he wouldn't start.

I don't think Pledger is near worth a starting spot. Matty Knight is playing much better. He might get a place on the bench due to lack of centres.

I agree Cell, Knight would get the start and Pledger would possibly get the bench spot but Pledgers last couple of efforts haven't been too bad.

I'd agree with that after 4 rounds. Prob be a different story after 6 rounds as he finds his touch and his confidence in his ankle increases.
