Yep, Lightning got a lesson in how to play basketball from the Dandenong in the WNBL!

with 3 good wnba recruits entering the comp we will have to be at our best.

if suzy stays fit and keeps going the way she is - another POTY would not be out of the question.

jo and jenny are just timeless ! talbot also playing beyond her age.

Big major difference was that Dandenong hit their outside shots and Lightning (a bit like last season) did'nt.

I was pretty dissapointed with Laura Hodges. Got a couple of feeds right under the basket from Mansfield late and that was about her offence.

Lightning too predictable with Suzy getting the lion's share of shot attempts. No real or consistent 2nd scoring option & Lightning not a serious threat from behind the arc. Very concerned with their transition 'D', Dandenong embarrased them at times with the quick & relentless offensive transition.
