all these teams adding wnba / quality recruits post season start has put us back with the pack - ? no screen tonight - how close are the lewis' from playing ?
each week is a final for teams 2nd-6th at present.

It's almost a must win game for Lightning to keep pace with the current 2 elite teams (Bendigo & Dandenong). The Lightning game plan is very predictable & everthing goes through Suzy far too often. Lightning badly need a consistent 2nd & 3rd scoring option otherwise the Lightning are just making up the numbers this year in the WNBL. Lightning are very vulnerable if your offensive transition is very quick, you can get uncontested lay ups at will against Lightning if you run on them. I'm tipping Fire by 7pts tonight!

whilst suzy returns double doubles almost every game against quality players - why would you not go through suze.
what we need is inside / outside threats to stretch the D.

The Judge - You need other scoring options besides Big Suz, hence the comment of developing a consistent 2nd & 3rd scoring option to complement Big Suz! Think About It! The Lightning are going no where fast if all they are concerned about is Big Suz getting 20 pts & 10 rebounds per game.

Makes sense for the lightning to run things through Batkovic but the reliance on her is too much. Batkovic & Hodges should develop into a tag team, with them going at smaller or weakens options in defence rather than dumping it to Batkovic as the 1st option every time.
The Lightening have some great permimeter shooters so defenders cant double down too often without getting punished.
