Purser's attempted three! Hah!

Dunigan is exactly the sort of import big I wish we saw more often in the NBL. Just enough showboating, plays both ends, etc. Surely any team would be happy to have him.

Corin Henry throwing up some garbage trying to get something going for Sydney and Heals full court press has been a disaster

Second half not looking any better for kings. Perth apply just enough pressure to make life difficult for their opposition. They don't even look like they are working hard - signs of a good team and a good system.

All the teams will have watched that and will throw out a zone against sydney. Only Madgen and Garlepp can be proud of their efforts tonight

Corin Henry and Darnell Lazare are shithouse

Anonm...

One game they played poorly and they are shithouse?

They just came up against a Wildcats juggernaut without their normal offensive fadeout.

Corin and Darnell are one of the better import combos in the league.

Henry at least put in the effort. Lazare just coasts and doesn't look like he's trying to improve his team.

Admire Madgen for persisting beyond the shoddy start to put together a decent score.

As I said on Twitter, Crosswhite fouled out in nine minutes, Purser in six minutes and Tovey in only three minutes only court!

Cam Tovey's stats - 3:26mins 2 rebs, 1 assist, 1 to, zero points and 5 fouls.
Really?

Disagree there Isaac, Lazare crashes the boards hard, he is one of the hardest working rebounders in the league.

Agree with Paul...

Lazare is a good rebounder for his size, and he is always there with the effort.

Shame his mid range jumper just dissappeared like Cam Tovey after 3 mins.

How is it that a team can shoot around 40% from the field and around 25% from the 3 point line and still win by 34 points?

Has the standard of play in the NBL ever been lower (in the modern era)?

yeah he crashes the boards but he never actually gets a rebound and gets blocked everytime he shoot a layup. i dont know how he got in the dunk contest he never dunks the ball.. hes shit

They dont really run many pick-and-pops for him anymore. Once Madgen, Bruce and Henry started firing early in the year the big men largely became screeners and finishers around the basket.

Heal needs to utilise the mid-range games of Lazare, Garlepp and Crosswhite more of life will become very difficult for the guards. Will be interesting to see the impact of Harvey's return too.

They shot 47% from the field, and 43% from downtown.

Crosswhite was shocking and Perth didn't have to look hard to find wide open shots.

Quote from Dunigan in WA's Sunday paper today regarding his options for when Matt Knight returns - 'there is something here (in Australia), but I don't think I could play for any other team than these guys'

Shame because he is certainly worth watching, would be great if someone like Cairns could pick him up and keep him in the NBL

Yep, Im hoping Cairns can get it done. Would Sydney be considering it?

I think when Lazare gives 100% he is actually pretty good. He seems to just give 75% though for whatever reason. Seem him look very lazy and then a few weeks later look very aggressive. Strange
