I get the feeling you wrote all that JUST so you can say Durant is better than Lebron. He's not.

Bogut is better than Varejao.

Yeah, Bogut has a better offensive game. Varejao isn't the most polished post player.

But you cannot deny the numbers Varejao is putting up. Putting up stats this year that are better than any of Boguts years.
Currently averaging 15 and 15.

OJ Mayo is garbage. Been struggling especially this year. And you can't put Westbrook in the same company as those other pgs when he is selfish and really not a pg. Dont get me wrong he is a freak on the court but his game is detrimental to the Thunder, which you can't say about those others.

PG
1. Chris Paul
2. Steph Curry
3. Russell Westbrook
4. Tony Parker
5. Deron Williams

Until Rondo finds some offence and a bit of discipline he doesn't hit top 5. Pretty stiff to leave Derrick Rose out but I will due to injury. One to watch is Damian Lillard. On form this season he'd be pretty close to cracking the top 5. Obviously Kyrie Irving is pretty close as well.

SG
1. Kobe Bryant
2. James Harden
3. Dwyane Wade
4. OJ Mayo
5. Joe Johnson

Paul George is VERY,VERY close behind and Eric Gordon would make a case if he wasn't in the same situation as Derrick Rose.

SF
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Carmelo Anthony
4. Rudy Gay
5. Nicolas Batum

Paul Pierce and Iggy are close runners up. Paul suffers a bit because of his age. Is still more of a pure scorer than both Gay and Batum but at this stage of his career his defence, athleticism and all-round game is probably not at the level of these two.

PF
1. Kevin Love
2. David Lee
3. Zach Randolph
4. Tim Duncan
5. Blake Griffin

As Timmy Duncan retires (if he ever does) Serge Ibaka will take over his spot in the top 5. Josh Smith is a stretch but has been in some good form too and Pau Gasol is way out of form and probably in the wrong system but is still close to the most talented 4 man in the game. LaMarcus Aldridge is definitely in contention as well.

C
1. Dwight Howard
2. Al Jefferson
3. DeMarcus Cousins
4. Tyson Chandler
5. Marc Gasol

Brook Lopez is nudged ever so slightly by Gasol because of rebounding and defence. Al Horford's pretty stiff not to be on this list and Andrew Bogut and Andrew Bynum's injuries keep them out. Joakim Noah is not far behind either. You could also make a case for Chris Bosh in this category. Look for Greg Monroe to make some noise in the coming years as well and this time last year Roy Hibbert would probably be sitting real close as well.Nikola Pekovic has had a ripper season and will only continue to thrive with Kevin Love out. Gortat has been pretty solid in Phoenix too. As good as Anderson Varejao has been playing he doesn't even come close to this list and its a travisty you had him there. I can count atleast 15 better centres.

I don't include injured players except for Varejao because he's played a majority of the season

Reply #398239 | Report this post

AK-47, BTW Varejao 14 and 14, name 15 better centres I dare you

Reply #398240 | Report this post

*Westbrook averaging 8 assists this year*

Guys lets face it...Bogut isn't a top 10 centre, he's injured and Varejao is way better. You're just saying this because he's and Australian!
