MACDUB, Mystro - can you tell me what this topic is about so I can work out if it's a waste of time or just needs a better title?

Saw a kid, Jack Salt who I think is 16 or 17 and about 6'9" play for NZ at FIBA Oceania last December.

Talented left handed big, who could be okay...

Waitakere Rangers (a West Auckland team) are back in the NZNBL comp.

OP is referring to the fact that the players are playing without pay (voluntary).
Very young team.

From the looks of the NZNBL this year, the gap between the good and bad is colossal.
Wellington will be beating the likes of Waitakere and Waikato by 50 points with the current rosters.

Jack Salts been a sleeper for awhile now, he's got mad length . And hops to go with it!

Ive played against most of the players in the rangers team , loads of talent , real young , and definetly not going down by 50+
Patrich Bolstad will dunk on any 7footer in the ANBL atm

Wellingtons got Lindsay again but he's getting old

Waikato without. Abercrombie for another season

Marco Alexander young shooter , can't stop shooting!

Waitakare have Houston Oreilly , he can shoot but his form since high school has been shit , never lit up for the pirates

Kirk Penney needs to come home and retire in nz

Yes, they are talented, but also very young.

the Saints operate on a 500k budget, whereas Waitakere are not paying players, and Waikato is only using 100k or so.

The Saints have:

One more Import slot (maybe Ernest Scott again?)
Boucher
Warren
Webster
Tait
Casey Frank
Mike Homik
Troy McLean

2 imports, 4 tall blacks, 1 ex-tall black.
Waitakere have 0 imports, 0 tall blacks.

Money talks. Wellington will always be strong.
