Nerlens Noel declares for NBA Draft

As the title suggests, Nerlens Noel has declared for the NBA Draft.
Thoughts?

My thoughts on the matger is that he should stay with Kentucky for his Sophomore year, work EXTREMELY hard on his offensive game and then declare himself.
Dumb move. Way way to raw, a lot like Andre Drummond. RAW.

A few factors to consider here:
He could come back next year and his stock could heavily drop if his injury really hurts him. He's basically a lock for a top 3 pick and could go #1 depending on which team gets the #1 pick. Going back next year might be better for his game but probably not for his stock. It's risking millions of guaranteed dollars.

Also, this years draft is extremely weak at the top. Lots of solid picks but no real clear cut potential NBA allstar. Next year is likely to be a strong draft with a very good crop of incoming freshman

One more point is how good Kentucky SHOULD be next year. Good incoming class. This could help OR hinder his stock. Could help with a title run ala Davis last year but an early tourney exit would likely drop it

As Kentucky's incoming class is so good, guys like Noel and Archie Goodwin want to declare now because they'll get less PT and numbers during the college season which could mean they lose stock. Also, next years draft is supposed to be far better than this years, so for these guys, they're probably not ready, but they don't have much of a choice.

Dead on Ingles13.

He'd actually be very stupid to stay. Who knows what happens after the injury? Take the opportunity now and solidify your future.

Have you seen Kentuckys recruiting class next year?
Dakari Johnson and Willie Cauley-Stein are already going to be fighting for minutes at C and guys like J Randle, Young, Harrison twins and maybe the best high school player ever Andrew Wiggins. His stock would drop alot.

The whole draft next year is stacked. When your almost a lock for No.1 why go out. Chances are you are rested and train for a while with the knee. You have to take the cash when you can.

If Bobcats get pick 1 he'll sit most of the year and they'll pick 1 again in 2014 loaded with young talent...and Jordan at 52!

Too many big names at Kentucky, Wiggins should go to Kansas so he can actually play quality minutes. Nothing against UK but their roster is stacked next year...too much talent!
Just hope Noel doesn't end up like Greg Odem!
